As a founder of one of the country’s first L3Cs, Michael Moreland has been a leader in the social enterprise community, consulting governments, multilaterals, foundations, universities, and businesses on the design of social innovation strategies.

With SEEDR, Michael has led initiatives to design affordable housing finance products in Latin America, next-generation equipment for global vaccination and disease surveillance programs, policy agendas for shaping vaccine R&D markets, and a methodology for systematically increasing access to healthcare for nomadic populations across West Africa. In this time, SEEDR has worked with the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Ministries of Housing, Health, and Agriculture, and businesses around the globe.
