The sun and rekindling our sense of wonder

In this inspiring talk, Genna makes a compelling argument that “both art and science are forms of exploration” and goes on to remind us of the importance of keeping our child-like wonder. Genna Duberstein works at the intersection of art and science. As the lead multimedia producer for heliophysics at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, she works alongside scientists to bring to life data from the Sun. It takes approximately 10 hours of work to make one minute of ultra-HD footage of the Sun. This award-winning work has been aired on PBS, and featured on Vanity Fair, Wired magazine, The Atlantic and National Geographic.
